Writers in Functional Skills

The key role of the writer is to produce external and/or internal assessment material for functional skills qualifications.

Due to the development of our functional skills portfolio, VTCT needs Writers and Markers in Functional Mathematics; English and ICT to support our assessment practice on a contract basis. Writers are required to produce external and/or internal assessment material for functional skills qualifications. Markers are required to mark external assessment or examination material. It is possible to take on both the role of writer and marker.

Successful applicants will have wide ranging experience in assessment and will be competent teachers or practitioners in a relevant discipline with strong ICT skills. Queries regarding these posts may be directed to Susan Brakewell by email to susanbrakewell@vtct.org.uk or by calling 02380 684524.
