External Verifier Hospitality & Catering
Location: Home-based
Salary:
VTCT is a medium-sized specialist awarding organization based in Eastleigh, Hampshire. We provide qualifications for the expanding hair and beauty, complementary therapy, sports and fitness, and hospitality and catering industries. We have a turnover of approximately £6 million, generated by 125,000 registrations for qualifications annually.
External Verifiers – Hospitality and Catering
Daily Contractual Rate
An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of External Verifiers for Hospitality and Catering. Appointments are available on a geographical basis and VTCT is particularly interested to appoint in the Midlands and the North East and West of England. The key responsibilities of this role include:
● To provide independent verification of quality of assessment and quality assurance
arrangements at VTCT approved centres.
● To sample centres’ assessments, both practical and theoretical, observing Assessors
and Internal Verifiers in action to ensure that there is a consistent and reliable
assessment of candidates
● To ensure that the internal verification is operating at an appropriate level to ensure
competence is being correctly judged
Candidates should possess an Assessor and Internal Verifier Award, experience of internal verification and relevant vocational experience and qualifications.

Senior Verifier- Sports & Active Leisure- South of England

Senior External Verifier- Sports and Leisure
Daily Contractual Rate
An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of one Senior Verifier within the Sports and Leisure Team.
The team wishes to appoint a well organised and enthusiastic individual to support the standardisation of External Verification of VTCT qualifications.
This involves:
• Approval of New Centres
• Monitoring and supporting Local External Verifiers
• Attending regular meetings with the Chief Verifiers
• Attending meetings on behalf of Chief Verifiers with stakeholders including Sector Skills Councils, Regulatory Bodies and Learning Providers
