Two young professionals qualified in VTCT vocational qualifications have made it through many rounds to represent the UK in their fields at the international competition WorldSkills London 2011.

Hayley Wright, 20, is qualified in VTCT Level 2 NVQ in Beauty Therapy, Level 3 NVQ in Beauty Therapy (General) and female intimate waxing services. She studied at Weston College. Hayley won a silver medal in Beauty Therapy at WorldSkills UK 2010 before beating many finalists to become part of Team UK.
Elizabeth Hale, 19, is qualified in VTCT Level 2 Hairdressing and is currently completing VTCT Level 3

Hairdressing at Reds Hair Co, Ross-on-Wye. Elizabeth won a silver medal in Hairdressing at WorldSkills UK 2010.
WorldSkills is the largest international vocational skills competition, taking place every two years in locations around the world, in which over 1,000 young people from over 50 countries / regions, compete to become the best of the best in their chosen skill. The UK’s participation in WorldSkills allows us to benchmark skill levels in this country against those from around the world.
