The World Skills UK awards event took place at the Imax cinema on Thursday 12th November. VTCT had been nominated for a partnership award and we are delighted to annouce we were one of two winners. The award was collected by VTCT's Chair of the Trustees, Frederica Paraiso and VTCT External Verifier (and UKSkills Trainer) Sue Simpson. The event was attended by VTCT Chief Executive Stephen Vickers and Director of Business Development, Nic Robinson as well as staff who have been involved in making a success of our involvement in the WorldSkills UK competitions.
Chairman of the Trustees, Frederica Paraiso said:
'It was an inspirational day, as it celebrated the achievements of many amazing young people who are pursuing careers in vocations as wide ranging as aeronautical engineering, musical theatre performance, accountancy of course hair, beauty and complimentary therapy.'
VTCT was also show casing the Media Make-up competitions which have not yet achievded WorldSkills status and had three winners from this year demonstrating their winning designs.
