Level 3 Complementary Therapies - Task Based Controlled Assessments (NQF)

The level 3 complementary therapy (Pre-2010 NQF) task based controlled assessments (TBCA) for:

  • Massage
  • Reflexology
  • Aromatherapy

There will be 3 windows of opportunity to sit these in January, May and September. This is to offer more flexibility, particularly for private training providers. The papers will be available to examinations officers only and downloadable from the Linx2 area of this website for a period of one week only. They will then be removed.

The papers will be internally marked by the centre's assessors according to the mark scheme prepared by VTCT and which will be available through this website. If a candidate fails a paper offered in one assessment window, they will need to sit a new paper in a different assessment window.

The papers will then be sampled by EV's in the same way as current NVQ and VRQ papers are.
