The VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Make-Up and Manicure (QCF) is a specialist vocationally related qualification. This qualification will enable learners at a minimum to gain skills, knowledge and understanding required in order to perform manicure treatments on the hands to improve the condition and appearance of the skin and nails. Learners will also gain knowledge and skills in the application of cosmetic make-up for clients as well as skills for instructing clients on make-up application. This qualification, which will equip learners with the required attributes, skills, knowledge and understanding needed to perform professional manicure and make-up treatments for clients via employment or self employment in the beauty therapy industry.
