Safeguarding

ALL OF US at VTCT and iTEC have a responsibility to SAFEGUARD AND PROTECT children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Protect

  • ALWAYS put the child, young person or vulnerable adult at the centre of your decision making.
  • DON’T wait to prove or disprove concern.
  • If something feels wrong, it often is. TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS.
  • If your concern is about a colleague, SPEAK UP at the first opportunity. Don’t wait for things to improve, as they may get much worse.

Who to talk to

If you have any concerns, you can talk to:

Pam Praine, HR Manager , +44 (0) 23 8068 4516, safeguarding@vtct.org.uk

Please talk to VTCT first, however, if you are worried that your safeguarding concern has not been listened to, please call the NSPCC Whistleblowing Advice Line for help.

Telephone: 0800 028 0285

Email: help@nspcc.org.uk
