Frequently asked Questions

General Questions

Do we need to apply for practical adaptations or just exams?

When can we start facial/make-up and other close face to face treatments?

When the government will allow close contact services to resume. Keep checking the government website for any updates.

If students can’t attend college for external exams, can they be orally questioned or have a professional discussion?

Will maximum timings be adjusted due to multiple treatments being performed on just one client?

Yes. Assessments may take longer but the agreed timings need to be communicated with every learner prior to observations taking place. This will enable a standardised approach.

How do we apply for approval for adaptations?

Is adaptation the normal way of working now or only if there is another lockdown?

The adaptions are in line with government and regulatory direction until further notice.

Are there government guidelines in terms of how many full time college students are allowed to work on practical assessments?
