Several stakeholders from VTCT centres have been awarded for their service to the country, revealed within this year’s Queen’s birthday honours.
Of the 20 individuals within further education cited, three were from organisations that VTCT currently works with.
Chichester College Group Chief Executive Shelagh Legrave was awarded a CBE.
East Coast College Principal Stuart Rimmer was awarded an MBE and
Kendal College chair Catherine Dutton was awarded an MBE.
The Queen’s birthday honours list is traditionally released in June annually to mark the Queen’s official birthday. Inspirational people from across the country are selected and honoured within the list for their exceptional service and achievements for the nation.
