Here’s what previous attendees have had to say about Collective Live:

Gemma Moore, Hairdressing Level 3 Student, Edinburgh College:

“I really enjoyed the demonstrations. I especially liked that we could ask the guest artists questions about what it’s like in the industry once finishing College, they gave me some brilliant advice.”

Vicki Warren – Curriculum Manager Hair, Beauty, Travel & Tourism and Hair Apprenticeships at Sandwell College.

“As an educator, I was really impressed by the VTCT Hair & Barbering Collective Event. The speakers were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, and they did an excellent job of sharing their expertise. I feel inspired to bring what I have learned back to my team.”

Denise Charles – Head of Curriculum for Service Industries at West London College

“It was great to host a Collective Live event at West London College, giving students the opportunity to hear from experts and see cutting edge hairdressing and barbering techniques. We had a great talk on how social media can be a positive influence on developing careers, which was a good tool for students who are on hairdressing and barbering courses.”

As a charity, VTCT is dedicated to supporting and promoting the hair and barbering sector as an exciting and rewarding career path, recognising the variety of skills those in the industry possess and earn. In November, we proudly launched our Hair and Barbering Collective to bring together and support individuals in the sector.

The Collective will enable you to support, encourage and inspire your learners towards their desired career in hair and barbering.
