Seminar: Assessment of learner achievement on EU mobility projects – 31 August 2017

Learner participation in EU mobility placements can greatly enrich their learning.  Being assessed and having learning outcomes recognised whilst on placement can be motivating for the individual, prevent loss of learning time from their qualification and utilise the strengths of the host.  Differences between country systems for assessment can make this challenging.

This seminar will:

  • explore ECVET as a support for assessment on vocational education and training (VET) mobility projects
  • disseminate and receive feedback on the outcomes of the research conducted by the VARE (Vocational Assessor Requirements in Europe) project group
  • consider practical steps to facilitate assessment in VET mobility projects

Who should attend:

Professionals from vocational education and training establishments, awarding organisations or national agencies involved in transnational mobility projects, recognition of achievement of learning across national boundaries or formulating assessment policy.

Date: 31 August 2017
Venue: VTCT Offices, Eastleigh, SO50 9PX
Cost: Free
Timings:  10:00am – 3:00pm
